Great supper tonight

Jack and I took the ferry tonight and went across the harbor to a neighborhood called Neutral Bay. We had a great supper and the final bill was more in line with what we would pay at home for a nice dinner. Everything is really expensive in the 'tourist neighborhoods', but this Thai place was in a regular residential neighborhood.

We still can't find a place to have a drip cup of coffee. When you order a coffee, you can get an expresso, a latte, a long black, or a short black. We have figued out how to make coffee in our apartment that resembles what we're used to, but it's not exactly the same. It's really lucky that I love lattes, as I'm having one every day.

  1. I just figured out how to look at your pictures. This is strange for a dumb Kansas farm boy. It looks like you are having fun and making some very good memories. I don't know how to spell ck on this thing so I better not write much. Keep having a great time. We had 8-10 inches of rain over the 4th weekend so things are not the best here. Larry

  5. This is fun to travel with you and Jack. If you can make it to Cupertino?
It's an pretty much an underground city. I believe opals are mined there.
I also found Tasmania fascinating. Enjoy!
